Our View From Lion’s Head, Cape Town

It’s been a while since I went hiking, so this popular hike up Lion’s Head was a great start to get back into it. As a group of five we set out to hike up Lion’s Head which is only a short drive from Cape Town city center, across from Table Mountain.

Weatherwise in regards to the hike, we were really lucky. It wasn’t a hot day at all, rather comfortable, cloudy without the sun ever breaking through. Not the most ideal weather to take breathtaking photos, but I still really  like my dangling feet shot, documenting that I made it.

View from Lion's Head

A hike up Lion’s Head is definitly worth doing when you are in Cape Town. Arriving at the top you get rewarded with spectacular panoramic views of the city, Table Mountain and the scenic Atlantic Ocean coasline on the other side.
